Custers Last Stand

What an incredible waste of lives. 263 Cavalry and 100 Indians lost their lives in this battle during June of 1876.

Here is a case of government at it's worst. The government essentially crowded a number of non-friendly Indian tribes together into a a tiny area, then set about to break treaties which it made.

Custers last stand was ill thought out and doomed to failure before the first bullet was fired.
