Birch Bay Birch Bay is tucked into the North West corner of Washington about 10 miles south of the Canadian border. We used this location as our jumping off point to Vancouver, BC. |

Mount St. Helens Volcano A small volcano relative to Mt. Panitubo, but devastating nonetheless. This volcano produced a rocky output rather than a lava flow. The rock storm traveled at 300 MPH and removed the bark from trees 15 miles away. It leveled trees to 7 miles. |
