Mormon Tabernacle

Salt Lake City, Utah

A little clarification. The Mormon Tabernacle is not in the temple. The Tabernacle is a separate building which is open to all people. The building is a gathering place for members to be instructed by the leadership of the Church.

This building is very large, the photos here were cropped to fit. The building acoustics are such that you can hear a pin drop without amplification.

We attended the half hour noon time organ recital, then returned for the evening rehearsal of the famed Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

We found the experience to be very moving and suggest that it be in your travel plan.

11,623 pipes at his command, awesome!

325 faithful, most humbling.

The wheels have turned, and it is time.....   it is time for us to go home.

We end our travelog here at Salt Lake City and hope you have enjoyed the ride.

We made a bee line for Florida from here and arrived home safe and sound.

Till next time, be good to one another.
