We traveled to Mackinac Island in  Michigan. This island is special in that there aren't any motor vehicles allowed there. Walking, carriage rides and bicycles are  the only way to travel. The island has many beautiful mansions, some as bed & breakfast operations. It also has a Grand Hotel which is it's most prominent feature.
